Default Biggest turkey ends up being with a bow

This is the first of many posts from Team Va. Our bow seasons have been great this year with numorous bucks taken. The rut is in full swing here in central VA and bucks are chasing does like mad. I watched a large 9 point chase off some fawns the other evening to get to the doe. The next morning I took a 10 point with a 17 inch spread at about 6 yards checking a scrape. Rattled him in and another smaller 8 at first light. But the coolest thing yet this season happed yesterday morning. The outskirts of tropical storm Noel was blowing 25-30 in the morning and made hunting a little scketchy. One guarantee in this stand was 4 large gobblers that roost near the stand. I guess the wind kept them in a diff. area this morning, but on the way out of my stand somehow I came up on them feeding in a pipeline about 100 yard away from the truck. I was only about 35 yards away when I spotted them and somehow they didn't see me. ( this never happens in the spring ). Nocked and arrow picked out the biggest one and let the XI Legacy do the rest. 11 inch beard and about 20 pounds. Will have pics of the turkey and the bucks later.
