I go in super early for three reasons:

1. I've found that I bump WAY fewer deer, this way.
2. I can take my time and be as quiet as possible
3. I HAVE SOME OF THE BEST SLEEP IN MY LIFE IN MY CLIMBER!

It sounded like a whoopie cushion factory this morning....all the grunting going on in the dark. I got on stand at 5:40....and I've never heard the amount of deer activity below me as I did this morning. If I'd waited til 30 minutes before shooting light.....I'd have bumped ALL of these deer. You don't even wanna know how many sightings I had this morning!.....lol
