Cherokee, measure that group from center to center of the two most distant holes. I don't see 1 7/8".

That is my way of measuring groups and it isn't absolutelly accurate, nor absolutely the most accepted way - but it's close. Estimating the centers is difficult but finding the real edge of the holes can be even worse.
