I have used both and would give the edge to the BLR due to the fact that the safety on the BLR allows you to chamber and then place the hammer a halfcock. Makes an awsome bush gun I am also buying a 308 as I have the BLR in 300win and 325wsm. Nothing wrong with the Rem 7600 I personally would choose the BLR due to safety factor.
