Default RE: grunt call cadence

ORIGINAL: geterdun3

hey guys. i want to use my grunt call effectively, so i was wandering what actual sequences you use for dif. situations. i have been just using a simple, "errrrtt" for a few seconds? is that correct? or can i get more aggressive, something like "errrrtttt, ert, ert" I just dont know what cadence to use. like with a crow call its "who cooks for you, who cooks for you all" but im not sure what to use for the grunt call. any ideas? thanks alot
I have grunted in 3 deer so far this year. I use a long (2-3 second) first "note" then 2-3 short bursts. Then when I get his attention, and he is headed my way, I just change it up. Doing more to what he responds to.
