While I'm not married (yet) we might as well be. She lives with me and I plan to be with her till she kicks me out, or kicks the bucket......whichever comes first. [8D]

I gotta say, she's done pretty well with accepting my hunting time this year. Last year when season came, she had a tough time but I think we have grown enough and she has become more comfortable with it. I reallywant to make it a priority for the 08' season to get her through hunters education and get her into the woods with me to take her first deer or turkey, she has sat with me this year and wasn't too thrilled about it until the deer showed up........then she was shaking almost as bad as I did when that doe popped out of nowhere at 15 yards. I hope to be able to share it with her even if it is only occasionally.....I think this will help herunderstand more as well.

For this year, I try hard to make at least one night a week to go on a date with her and spend time during the season as well and I think this helps. She knows that I'm not going to be able to be a road/weekend warrior hunter gone every weekend for 3 months for the rest of life......I know it as well. I will eventually hit the point where I want kids and there will be a few years till the kids are old enough to go with where I will have to be at home most weekends. For now though, she's awfully good to me and gives me the space to pursue this game I'm so passionate about. I think that's a big reason why I've already decided she's a keeper.
