About 2 years is good for most anyone for string replacement.


As far as wax is concerned,don't overwax to the point you get build up.


Also,don't use cheap tex tite type wax.Make sure it is a quality wax that will rub in with ease.


I wax my hunting strings much more often thanI would wax a competition string.

IMO, once a month for most is more than enough. Too much for many.
