Default RE: Chronic Wasting Disease

They will not close down hunting season becasue of CWD if nothing else they do like they do in Wi and have open hunts through out the year to rid of the disease in CWD zones. If 40% of your states herd has CWD id move or do my part to help rid of the disease. CWD is a neurological disease that attacks the nervous sytem of a deer. Similar to MCD. There are no recorded cases of anyone getting sick or dyeing from eating a CWD infected deer. As long as you dont cut the spinal cord or use the brains and practice safe food handling and processing and thoroughly cook the meat, theres nothing wrong with eating an infected deer. Its all personal opinion.
