Hey non-flyer, I never said they wouldn't kill deer, I just said that you knew more about deer hunting than you do about rifles. I haven't seen anything yet, to cause a retraction of that statement. Doesn't change to fact that the 710 is junk.
Congrats to you and your son, on what sounds like a great hunting trip. You are correct that I have never taken a blacktail, as they are not found here on the east coast or the mid-west. But I have taken 300+ whitetailshere in NC and in other parts of the US.
Your junk!!! and just another simple Whitetail Hippie!!! All the shows on tele show feeded whitetail and then they get a kill. I bet your one of those!!!! Come to Oregon and try and shoot an elusive blacktail they eat at night and bed all Day the big ones anyway. But I'm sure (2 clips and a 1/2 a box) You and I mean You will never get this way. and if you did you might have too get out of your truck or stand for a minute BOO!!! HOO!!!!!!
