Trigger pull length too short?
Scope not correctly positioned?
Not keeping stock tight against shoulder?
Wrong type scope with out enough eye relief?
240 gr bullet with 100gr or less should not cause that " popped in the head" you need to loacte what ever else it is, it maybe causing accuracy difficulty sometimes.
