He rolled down the creek bank and into about a foot of water; hence the mud all over his face. It was tough getting him out of there.
I put the blind out 2 weeks ago and there was no cover around it. I just sat it in the middle of the CRP which was just mowed for a hay a few weeks ago, so it is only 5 or 6 inches tall. The blind was just sitting there like a big old eyesore. No deer even gave me a look. I couldn't believe it. I had no problems drawing my bow back; the only problem I noticed was that it was still plenty light outside to shoot but it was difficultto see my pins inside the blind becasue it gets dark inside there quick.
