Greg obviosly your experience is far above mine buti would just like to say that i liver shot a 6 pointer earlier this year the deer died within 60 yds and i found him within 30 mins of the shot. Obviously this a single acount but if it is a liver shot i have a feeling your deer is good and dead. I did the same thing you did, shot while the deer was walking at 15 yds.
