I have a old Mossberg in .243 and it shoots just as good as any of my more expensive guns. I bought it when I broke my arm because I could shoot it one handed and kep it because it shoots so good. Mine is at least 25 years old though so I don't know how good the new ones are though I haven't heard anything bad about them.
