shotgun barrel pinning
Has anyone done this? I'm thinking with retirement 6 months away I will have extra time on my hands. I have the machinery and knowledgeto do the work, working around machinery for the past 30 years. Just never done anything like this to my shotgun. Pinning a barrel is drillng, tapping, and attachingthe reciever and barrel together. Makes the barrel ridgid to the reciever increasing acuracy. So, anyone done this? Paid a gunsmith to do it? Did it help?
Sorry I should have stated this is for improving your pattern shooting slugs. I have a rifled cantilever barrel.
