early in, I was out this past saturday and saw the little guys were still sparring while in their buddy groups, meanwhile the bigger bucks had broken off looking for a little more solitude in my ML area. Though no bucks following does interms of whitetails. Mulie's on the otherhand appear to be jockeying for the pending rut. Saw lots of bucks with does, though the big ones were oddly absent from view...to me this means the muliesare starting to get stinky. I deceided to hold off on filling my remaining mulie doe tag until after primary rut has passed and then switched to whittetails for the day. I find mulies really strong just prior and during primary rut and seeing meat is the main concern I'll wait till Dec to fill that tag if I need more in the freezer by then

Saskabush, sometimes having Mr. Donald doesn't hurt, word has it Garry was a main reason for the change of heart in 29 by SERM...

. Only wish it could have extended past this zone.Acalling of all hunters in Sask. to ban the herd reduction and sampling efforts for this year in hopes a message will be sent to SERM. The current plan is flawed and everyone knows it.[:'(] Best of luck if you make it back to the pumpkin patch
