RE: Becomming a FFL Dealer
Think real hard about an FFL. You could sell crack or live off of welfare and get a whole lot more repect and government support.
No, just kidding I must say that our years in the gun business were great, but hard work. Could be a good living, but if you like to hunt not the best choice for a job. 12 hours a day at the worst time of the year.
I wanted to take over the family business but had a job with good pay and benifits, can your area support your way of life?
If you do get into the business, think big, never stop growing. Learn the laws, and keep records beyond what is required. As said before get a good lawyer and CPA. Don't sell ANYTHING you would not use I don't care what the profit margin is. And remember I told you this, you are not in competition with the big stores, the only thing they can offer is price, you can offer customer service, knowledge, and truefriendship.
