10/27 Report
Poured all morning so no point going out. The rain stopped around noon so I called my buddy and we hit one of his spots and guess what...I saw deer! It felt good to get off the skunk steak I was on. I had a nice 2.5 year old 6 point at 20 yards around 3:30. He'll be a good buck in a year or two. He is the biggest buck I had in range this year thus far. I smelled him before I saw him. Then I saw a little 1.5 year old 3 point and then a doe. During the prime time I had a little spike chase a doe under my stand and across the creek. I'm sure we would have seen more deer if the dirt biker hadn't come through at 5:00, but all in all it was a good night.
