Default RE: 16-Official Team LungBusters Thread

Yesterday was kind of a bust. Sat the same stand as Fri evening a week ago (on a big tract of land). It was still pouring down the rain, so I waited until it let up some (around 8am). Went out and hunted until about 11:30. Only saw one doe. Hung another stand in a thicket.

This morning was better. Saw 2 bucks at 10 yds (both were small) and about 8 does.I sat a new stand this morning about 10 yards from 2 cedar trees that were as bid a my leg and horned to pieces. This is the same little wood lot that I saw the big one in the first weekend. I don't think he was the one tearing up those cedar trees though as he had really white horns. I figure there must be another big boy with darker horns running around as well...plus the two twin 8 points. We'll see. I can't wait until they cut all the surrounding corn

It was windy this morning. Had to hold on to the tree from time to time...always makes everything more interesting. I hate more than a 5mph wind while sitting in a tree. 10-20mph today[:'(]. Out again on Tuesday morning.

Hope you had a good weekend bigjim. How was it?? Anybody else??
