Well, on the 18th I had surgery to repair a labral tear in my right shoulder. Recovery is going okay, but I won't be drawing my compound again this season.

I'm going to get a crossbow, and I've had my eye on the Excalibur Exomax for a while. I almost bought it today, and I probably would have if they had had the crank in stock. That's an accessory I'll have to have.

Now that I'm thinking about it, how do Tenpoint crossbows stack up against Excalibur?? Besides Horton and Barnett, are there some other choices? I saw the Desert Striker (Stryker??)today. Sweet, but I don't want to spend $1,000. just on the x-bow itself. That's a bit much for me.

I could use some pointers.
