That was an exciting morning. I haven't had that kind of action yet here in southern Illinois! To be honest with you the deer down here are really just starting to move. I haven't seen any nice bucks only a little 3 point we affectionaly call " Mr. Nubbins". He crusies through now and then. I hunted last wednesday and thursday on my day off and got busted four times by does! Can you believe it they caught me twice walking in on separate sides of the woods and then got busted while I was sitting in my climber. I climbed up high in the tree with a good wind and they still managed to see me! Two of the does were feeding on the leaves of a small tree and saw me when they lifted their heads to eat. I couldn't believe it. Oh well, that is what makes hunting fun. I really had to laugh at the whole thing. Good luck this season.
