I missed a 140 class buck at 17 yards once. My arrow ticked a thin branch and shaved the hair off his belly. I have that pile of white hair in a ziplock as a reminder of that day. There was no blood and no reaction to the shot and he just walked away, no giving me a chance for a second shot. We've all been there, just keep trying and it will come together eventually.
