Had something similar happen to me a few years back when I got permission for me and a friend of mine and was told nobody else has asked to hunt this piece of ground. Well my friend had gone out there and set up about 10 stands and had seen some really nice deer not to mention one that would have gone 170" easy and next thing we know stands are starting to show up, I asked the farmer he told me he didn't know of anyone else that had asked permission, well it turned out to be a neighbor that shares a pond with him for water for his cattle and he wanted all the rights to the ground for hunting because he let this guys cattle drink from his pond, needless to say we were removed from the property but not before my friend scored a 173" Non-Typical from it . Man was the neighbor mad when he heard stories of that[:-]. I do believe now that the neighbor is selling hunts off that property makes me wonder if the landowner knows????
