I honestly dont know which is better cudd or moultrie. I own a moultrie have only had it for about 4 weeks so not a huge length but the picture quality is awesome 4. mega pixel day pictures and 2 night pictures which are black and white due to the ir but I knew that going in as i would rather have no flash just preference. As for battery life i just changed out my sd card yesterday have changed it out twice now this time 423 pictures last time 212 pictures so i have taken 635 picture battery life is still at 88 percent drops to 78 while picture is being taken and then bounces back up and has been down to minus 10 a couple times and every night below zero so battery life to me on my moultrie 1-40 is good but these things are like vehicles ford or chevy some are ford drivers others drive chevys. i drive a moultrie not cause i hate cudd but just cause others driver moultri or cudd just cause they hate the other not cause they have a superior camera but usually cause of a bad experience witht he otehr model.
