I don't know about the area you own land in, but in many parts of the country one could get himself into a bit of trouble also if they tried to ****** a tresspasser off their land by pointing a gun at him. If he goes away and tells the police you pointed a gun at him you will have some explaining to do also. He may have been wrong to tresspass, litter, etc., but I don't think it warrants pointing a gun at him if he is willingly leaving. In the long run it just might start more trouble than it solves.
