I would say by guessing and visual sightings our ratio on our property would be 8 does to 1 buck. We definetly need to thin some does.
Ours is more like 10:1, we don't even have a statewide antlerless bag anymore, just county bag limits. Indiana is a meat hunters wet dream.
Sad to say: Kevin1 is right....in some Indiana counties you are allowed 8 doe and a buck. Buddy hunted last night and he saw 21 doe 3 bucks. He was hunting a single buck we have been getting on a trail cam so he didn't shoot anything, but we sure need to take as many does as we can.
