Hey guys I got home last night. I didn't shoot a thing b/c I spent the time getting stands set up.Got 3 set up on one property for nov.9 though the 15th. Then on sunday set up a stand on a piece I can hunt anytime .Ran into an older farmer on the illinios river who gave me permission to hunt his 2,000 acre, so I spent 2 days scouting and setting 2 stands in the best spots on the proprety.Did jump a shooter out of a tree line there. One night I sat on the edge of a cut bean field and saw 5 bucks ,3 small ones ,one 125" 10pt. and a bigger one about 135" came almost close enough to shoot ,trying to see what I was. The last night I used a climber to watch a field and saw 4 bucks ,a 5 and 6 pt. came under me , the 6 chasing a doe.the other 2 were 8 pts. around 110". I am getting pumped ,It looks like I head back monday and hunt till friday.Can't wait to be in my stands . I love november! Good luck mates.
