It maygive as much muzzle energy as a very light .30-06 load, about 2,000 lbs. A 150 grain bullet driven at 2,900 fps froma .30-06 fives 2,800 lbs. of muzzle energy.

Think about it folks, it is mostly hype. The name "magnum" sells like hot cakes whether the produce performs as claimed or not.
