drove the thirty minute drive to my hunting spot (creek bottoms), get down to the bottom field and it is now considered a bottom lake. no way to get across it to the woods i hunt without chest waders. atleast a couple feet deep. not to mention that once i got there the actual woods themselves are about two feet deep. i am TICKED, cuz now im outta there for atleast 4 + days till it all drains. rained nonstop for the third day today dont look like itll let up tomorow either. already at 6 inches in the past three days, so says my friend who has a rain gauge. idk about the accuracy.
ill load up pics of my honey hole deer spot now turned honey hole duck spot lol.
Funny how things are so different around the country.I am in a complete drought, ruined my main property for the season and probably many more seasons as all the big boys have moved on and or diedby EHD more than likely. And you cant because of too much water, and your deer are having to swim to go anywhere. Sorry to hear about your new lake TE.
