Glad to hear you think it's easy to operate Gator99. That is the main thing. And they are great tools. I've gotten really good at looking up locations on
www.terraserver.microsoft.com and plugging the coordinates in manually. It is nice to be able to mark a spot from your living room, and go right to it in the dark without ever having been there. I haven't used the computer interface cable yet, but will definitely try that out before elk season. Some of the mapping software out there is pretty cool, and there are a lot of free sites too. They make navigating in the dark a snap too. Just remember the backlight zaps the batteries.
Well I'm now a Minivan Dad. The wife and I traded our 2000 Montero Sport for a 2001 Ford Windstar Sport. I don't know if the wife knew I was serious, but this may be my new camping/hunting rig. Just pop the seats out of the back, and I've got a mobile hotel room. It's even got a VCR with 6" monitor so I can watch hunting videos while I'm eating dinner on hunting trips. Pretty sweet. It is a year newer model and 34,000 fewer miles for about $100 less/month. That equates to some new hunting stuff for me.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> Y'all have a good day.
