My little brother acquired one in a trade a few years ago, he loves it....
He keeps it in the truck or on the 4-wheeler and shoots groundhogs, crows, foxes and other vermin...It's relatively cheap to shoot, pretty quiet so he doesn't disturb the neighbors and doesn't kick (he has developed a flinching habit from the .270)...

I think the big thing is, he is shooting some in the off season...
