I don't slap my scopes, and I use tascos (for right now, please don't kill me). I guess I am lucky. they ajust fine, you may have to site them to the hole to get them to take, but it saves me ammo in the long run and a little time, it is the way I like to do anyway.

I am just scare to slap my scopes, some of us, get what we can get, get something else later.
