Quick Question
Hello to all. I’ve been lurking around here for a few months now. I haven’t posted, but have gotten plenty of tips and tricks from you guys. New to the site, new to bow hunting, but not new to deer hunting. Here is my question. I live in Indiana and have been out in the woods every weekend since bow season has started. I hunt a low pressure 80 acres. I consists of two fields, a small woods, a creek and thick treelines. I’ve seen a pretty nice 10 point and numerous does on the property. Just nothing close enough that I feel comfortable shooting at. I really want to go in the evening after I get off work. I get off at 5. It takes 30 min to get to the property I hunt. I wouldn’t get to my stand until almost 6:00. The Sun sets around 6:50. Indiana is a half hour after sunset state. Would I have a good chance at seeing something in that short of time. Or should I just stay out of the stand and wait until the weekends? Thanks for the help.
