You can't read very well can you? I never said I used a buck tag to tag a doe, I used an antlerless carcass tag that we get free. As for skill level I could also say it takes almost no skill to shoot a deer with a rifle. Heck, you see shows with blind people and severely handicapped people doing it, much less the average turd in orange in Wisconsin who maybe blows the dust off of their gun before heading to the woods.
I'm not going to say I'm sorry for tagging that doe. At the very least I got some meat from it to make up for the money it cost me.
As for people scraping them off the highway that were hit by someone else, or re-using deer that don't have their ears slit, I would say that is dishonest. I killed a deer and tagged it. Period.
The DNR's mismanagement is also part of the problem. I know that the individual employees are probably overworked/underpaid but that has to do with the total mismanagement of money from the top down. I really think in some areas EAB is a very good thing.
