Well it finally came together this morning. I got in my stand at about 6:40 and sunrise was at 7:15. I was sitting in my stand for no more than an hour when a deer came in, broadside at ten yards. I saw a rack but didn't even have time to worry about counting the points, I drew back on him and let an arrow fly. Drilled him in the lungs and clipped the heart. He only went about 70 yards and I heard him crash. After what seemed like eternity I hopped down and went to check out the scene. Blood was everywhere, we fallowed the trail all of the 70 yards only to find a nice sized 8 dead in the creek! I couldn't have been happier, my first deer, and a buck none the less!!!
