I have lost a doe this year and it was textbook. 20 yards, slightly quartering away, nothing between me and the old girl. I saw thearrow hit and it was a pass through. Good blood on the arrow. Good blood trail. Two days of search turned up nothing. Sometimes even the storybook tales have a bad ending. Glad you found it.
