Okay so last week I posted a pic of a couple really nice bucks in the 150's range. I finally went out hunting them this week and had a few encounters with 2 bucks in the 130's range. First off, this confused me because these trees that these deer are in only covers maybe 20 acres. I also know of another buck in the 120 range. So anyways, the picture was at 1:30 in the morning and I'm now wondering if maybe these two big boys were just passing through. The area is definately a rub cluster. I mean, probably 20 rubs in a 25 yard area. And a lot of them the size of my leg. So I'm not sure how to get a crack at these guys. So far I haven't seen one bit of them...and I'm wondering if it's a waste of time planning on shooting one of them because there are 3 other somewhat mature bucks. I always thought that bigger deer like this would not allow 3 other midsize bucks be in their same core area. Any help or advice to help me get one of these big boys would be great.
