RE: Part 2 .22 search.
My "first" choise would be Anschutz, as i like my 22's "accurate" and on the compact side for easy carrying... You didn't put a $$ amount on it, so why not get the "best" in the first place? It will easily last a lifetime, so why not get the best?
I bought a new Anschutz in the early 70's for just under $100.00 and it still shoots like new. It was a lot of money back then, but like i said, it will last me my whole life...
I have no idea how many thousands of rounds have been shot through it??? Nor do i have any idea how many pounds of meat it's put on my table over the years?? But it just keeps on, keeping on!
BTW, i bet you i could sell it for more than a hundred bucks any day of the week i wanted to!
