Wow what a day. Deciced to hunt my blind today since the wind was blowing around 20 mph. I was situated on the north end of the property watching a fence opening. Got into my blind around 5:30am, at 6:30 am I spotted a nice deer in front of me. It was still too dark to even see the pins on my sight so I waited eagerly. At 6:50am 2 more does started to work their way toward me (It looked like 2 does). 10 mins later I had one broadside and I let my arrow fly. I waited about 20 minutes to check the spot where I hit it. It was a complete pass through. I found my arrow full of bright red blood and 40 yards later I found my firstever bow kill. What a feeling. Now here's the funny part. Don't laugh. It turned out I shot a button buck but at 7 in the morning it looked like a doe to me. It's not the biggest deer in the world but it's my First! and I'll never forget it.

I must say I'm pretty proud of myself I gutted it, buchered it and ate it all in a matter of a few hours(1/2 a day). Those backstraps were damn good!
