Sounds good, thanks.
Did a search with Google for "Two Factor Anova" and found this:
http://www.stat.sc.edu/~habing/courses/516two-way.pdf
you will have 3 or 4 levels of bullets
Factor 1 is "design of bullet"
Level 1: Round Ball,
Level 2 Powerbelt
Level 3: XTP Pistol bullet
Level 4 Bonded bullet like Gold Dot, or Barnes or Nosler Parttion
so factor 1 has 4 levels.
Factor 2 Power Level
Level 1: 50g
Level 2: 75g
Level 3: 100g
Level 4: 150g (you may want to drop this to 120 loose)
Y variables:
Penetration in inches
Expansion in Inches
Weight in % of total weight
I see you have a degree in Engineering, so you should be able to follow the experimental design, if you want to talk thru this with your Son's OK, you can call me, PM me for my phone number.
The hypothesis your testing is "is there statistically significant differences in penetration, wt retention and expansionin bullet design".
