Colder the better, unless the windchill is in the teens or lower. Then it's chilly. But that only bother me, not the deer. Ideally, 25 at night, 40 in the daytime, cloudy skies with slight breeze carrying my scent to where it is harmless....
I've found that any time the weather is warmer than normal by 15 or 20 degrees, whether it's October or December, it's bad hunting. Unusually cold is better than unusually warm any time.
I totally agree..........ALOT colder than what we are experiencing in the northeast, even if it was in the 60's would be better than this HOT crap we are experiencing now.
