Default RE: Busted, any advice?

Thanks for the advice so far guys. I'm definately never leaving until it's completely dark for now on, that's for darn sure. As much as I like the stand, I think I might stay out of it for the season. I really like the location though, it's not on a major trail, but close to a bedding area. I would still like to hunt this area, but don't want to disturb it by tromping in there and hanging another stand. I don't suppose ground hunting would be as effective? I have two other stands to use next to trails, but they're on the edge next to the corn/bean fields... I guess I can't see an old buck making an appearance in the open outside the woods with the sun still up. Does and small bucks yes, but not this guy.

And I think you were right DropTine249, I had a feeling that night after I was back home that that buck had been lurking around my area longer than I realized. I had heard something behind me awhile before, turned around and heard something run away. It was than I decided to rattle again. Waited for awhile and figured what ever I had heard was spooked already and thought it was time to call it a night. Little did I know thatdecision would cause me lost sleep!
