My wife and I were talking about different states and their bag limits, yesterday....(she assumed they were all similar). I told her some places only allowed the archers to take one animal.
She said...."that's like practicing golf all year to play one round".
I'm just not sure I would deer hunt (if that were the case, here). I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it......not hardly. I'm giving you guys kudos who can keep your interest up in those states. I just don't think I could.
Do you ever wish it were different?
Sorry. Getting in on this late. I dunno, Jeff. If you were only allowed to play one game of golf all year, but it was the Masters, would you pratice all year? I know that's more than one round, but the analogy is still the same. I don't golf, but to me, it's the same situation. You bet I'd be shooting all year, even if I were only allowed one deer. To me, deer season is more important than the Masters, the Super Bowl or any other sporting event. I live for it. I want to be the best I can when season opens. I can only get there with practice.
