Is there any reason why this wouldnt work on say a Horton crossbow? My brother has an Horton HD 175 and figured I might pass this info along so he wont ruin another arrow unless for some reason one shouldnt do it with a compound.
I did try it once on my HD175 with help. Because I was kinda afraid what would happen. I had my mother pull the trigger while I pulled back on the harness cocker. I'm going to try it alone tonite to see how it goes holding the harness one handed. It's may be a little tricky for me because of how the safety works. When you pull back too far, I believe it will reingage the safety on you. (I'm not 100% sure.) But I believe it did that when we uncocked it that one time. Let us know how it went. I will do the same after I try it.
