Believe it or not, my favorite call is a $9.99 or so Haydels from Wal-Mart. I have since upgraded to more expensive acrylics, but keep the Haydels on my lanyard. They also make a good wood duck call.
Right there with you bald9. Easy to use double reed, and also pretty versatile.. you'll be pulling in ducks in no time.
