Most of the bench rest guys I know, wouldn't even consider a progressive for their competition ammo. I have a good friend that competes in high power, and he uses the same ten cases over and over until they show signs of wear/ lose weight. Most use high end sinlge stage presses at the bench while they compete. Pistol competition is another thing, the object there is volume over accuracy, so a progressive is just the thing.
