Ive noticed theres alot of different types of grunts. Which is the best to use?
I mostly use a soft contact grunt, it's their most common vocalization and isn't threatening. Fawn bleats work well in the pre rut, draw in a doe and you'll probably find a buck trailing her. During the rut I use doe grunts and bleats. Post rut I go back to contact grunts, mostly doe. I hunt midwestern hardwoods.
