Heck, all I use is left helical for years now. That is, unless I am using right helical. Yes, I use both and there is no difference. NONE, get that? All I shoot is feathers, 2" for 3D and 4" for hunting.
To help with keeping those points tight just put a little bowstring wax on the threads and tighten them down. You can use the old bees wax if ya got it, cause it ain' t the right stuff for synthetic strings anyway. For that you want ML6.
