Taditional archery tackle and compounds are different enough, bringing in crossbows is like comparing buckshot to a slug gun.
And comparing traditional tackle to a compound is like comparing the family sedan to a race car.

Even if they are equal in speed and accuracy, there is something to be said for getting a bow drawn on a trophy animal.
Then you must be willing to support the following:
-Limiting letoff so you can't pull a compound back hold 2 minutes or more (resting the bottom limb on your leg).
-Eliminating ground blinds of any kind
-Treestand hght limited to 5 ft and under.
