I like a break-open action with an exposed hammer for safety & simplicity. Inexpensive, easy to disassemble & clean, and reliable.
I have a Traditions, but I'm sure CVA is an equal. If NEF used a 209 primer without the plastic carrier I'd buy one of them, but I hate the idea of having to fool with the plastic carriers.
