RE: Should crossbow kills be recognized for p&y record book?
actually i disagree, a crossbow is not better, more powerful, accurate or anything of that sort. if its rifle season and a guy shoots a record book buck with a 300 win mag rather then a 3030 does that mean he shouldnt be allowed to put it in the books? ... if a person is handicapped and shooting a crossbow because its their only option other then not hunting at all i say we give them the same credit (im sure they have other struggles, like climbing up a tree, maybe walking) and if the state law is anyone can shoot a crossbow, then if you think u have a better chance getting a record book animal with a xbow then go buy one! and if you care enough about the record books to not want to allow someone who shot a magnificent animal in, no matter what his weapon of choice is, then thats just not right! imo
